Ross A. Fieldston joined Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz as an associate in the corporate department in 2005. His practice concentrates on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and corporate and securities law matters, with a focus on banks and other financial institutions. Mr. Fieldston has worked on both public and private company acquisitions, proxy contests, hostile defense transactions, securities offerings and corporate governance matters.
Mr. Fieldston received his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Fieldston received his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2005, where he was a James Kent Scholar, a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and a Teaching Fellow. Mr. Fieldston served as a Senior Editor of the Columbia Law Review from 2004-2005.
Mr. Fieldston is a member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and New York State and American Bar Associations. |
