David Fischman is an associate in the real estate department at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz focusing on strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings and restructurings in the real estate, REIT and hospitality sectors. Mr. Fischman’s practice also focuses on the formation, structuring and management of private equity real estate opportunity funds.

Mr. Fischman received a B.S. from the University of Maryland University College in 2000, where he graduated summa cum laude, and received a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2005.

Mr. Fischman is a member of the New York State Bar.
