We are committed to providing our associates with a level of compensation (including base salary and year-end bonus) significantly higher than that of comparable firms. The benefits we offer also reflect this commitment, including full payment of premiums for comprehensive medical, group life and disability insurance plans. Our associates are entitled to four months of paid maternity leave, with additional unpaid leave time available. We also work on a case-by-case basis with associates who are interested in adopting flexible part-time schedules, and firm-sponsored emergency childcare facilities are available without charge whenever needed. The firm also offers subsidized gym memberships to all associates.
Our associates are encouraged and expected to take four weeks of paid vacation each year. The firm also makes payments to cover moving and travel expenses for associates and their families when they relocate to New York City, and will make salary advances to further assist relocating associates. In addition, we cover all bar examination expenses, as well as dues for two bar associations of each associate’s choosing.
